Large Weddings (61-135 guests)

• A two night rental of all rooms is required to host a wedding reception here. Holiday weekends require a three night rental.
• The fee for hosting a reception is $4,000 -(plus a 20% service charge based on the cost of overnight rooms) we will receive, set up and break down all rental equipment. We will also provide an indoor area for dancing with a dance floor. Your reception can take place on the lawn, porches and inside in our two large common rooms- as furnished. Additional tables, chairs, table settings, portable restrooms and food service items must be rented at your expense.
• The reception can carry on as long as you wish, with the exception of amplified music which may not continue after 10:00 p.m.
• A minimum of three employees will be hired to accommodate your gathering (bartenders, clean-up, late suppers, etc) at a rate of $18.00 per hour. The hourly rate for staff will increase to $30.00/hour after midnight. The duration of your reception must be determined in advance since our staff must be allowed to schedule their hours.
• Once food service is complete and the catering crew has departed, the kitchen will be closed for the night.
• Alcohol can be made available outside of the hours of the reception with advance notice only. No guests are allowed to bring their own alcohol into the inn on wedding weekends.
• The only alcohol allowed on the premises is that which is purchased through the Grey Havens. State law does not permit alcohol to be consumed on the premises after 1 a.m.
• The function fee only covers the actual Wedding and Reception. An additional fee will be charged for any other gatherings at which food or alcohol is served.
• You may contract the services of any caterer from our list.
• Children under 12 are not permitted except on the nights you have reserved the entire inn.
• No smoking is allowed on the premises
• A $2000 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your date
